There have been models of Lunar Rovers but none like this one. It has to be the best one ever produced! Yet only 10,000 were ever made. This is a 1/48 scale display model of the first car that was driven on the moon by Apollo astronauts in the early 1970's. The level of detail on this little model is incredible, featuring a high-gain antenna which is real brass mesh, the double wishbone suspension, herringbone tread pattern on the wheels, fender detail, wired-up antennas, experiments packages on-board, plus 2 very detailed astronaut figures, one standing and one sitting. This very detailed moon car is only 3 1/2 inches long and comes in a very attractive collector's box with a numbered base.
